Look out for our green token collection box in Harpenden Waitrose | helping those living in Luton to access funded counselling

Customers can now get involved and use their green tokens to vote and support our mission to ensure long term counselling is available to those living in Luton who are experiencing anxiety, depression or grief.  The funds raised will be used specifically to help those who are not able to pay for the full cost of our professional counselling.

The Counselling Foundation receive no government funding and to ensure we maintain the subsidised element of our counselling service for those who may be struggling financially and public donations are crucial.

Every week our Luton Centre in Princess Street, helps people to explore and talk through what is worrying them, to confront problems and emotions and find new coping skills.

Talking to a counsellor offers people a space to share what’s on your mind with someone who doesn’t know you, your past, family and friends and can help people to:-

  • Learn healthy ways to express themselves
  • Learn new coping skills
  • Confront problems and emotions
  • Feel supported and validated
  • Get a different perspective on your situation

When you’re shopping in store, collect a green token and look out for our collection box in the Harpenden Waitrose.

We are grateful to Waitrose and their shoppers who chose our charity helping to make counselling available to all living in the Luton community.

Alternatively you may wish to donate directly!
