This week the Foundation celebrate the work of it’s volunteers who all come together to talk and work to break down the stigma of ill mental health and help people overcome anxiety, depression and loss.
From our primary volunteers, our students in counselling training, who accumulate many hours of closely supervised experience to progress through up to five years of psychodynamic counselling training through to our board of trustees, who volunteer their time to provide their wealth of knowledge in law, human resources, counselling and accountancy.
Not forgetting the voluntary efforts of staff, who readily give up time and lend a hand, to help on awareness and fundraising days.
We also thank volunteers who help to make fundraising events like the recent St Albans Charity Cycle Ride (SACCR) such a great success to benefit local charities.
