The Counselling Foundation at the St Albans Chamber of Commerce Business Awards
October 2, 2015 11:33 amYesterday evening The Counselling Foundation was at the St Albans Chamber of Commerce Business Awards as a finalist for the Corporate Social Responsibility category. We were nominated for our charitable counselling service that we provide to the community.
Unfortunately we didn’t win, but we were against other fantastic organisations including the Rennie Grove Hospice and Thrales End Farm who teach children about agriculture, food and where it comes from, who won the CSR award. As we were sat next to them on our table we got to find out about the great work they do, so we were really pleased that they were given the commendation. Congratulations to all other winners on the night!
Robert Cuming, CEO said “It was fantastic that we had been nominated for the Chamber’s prestigious Business Awards, it meant so much to our charity that the work of staff and counsellors has been recognised, and helps promote our objective to provide affordable low cost counselling which is much needed in Herts.

Robert was joined by Fiona Di Leo St Albans Centre Head, Judy Mallinson – Contract Manager, Becci Murtagh – Head of Marketing and Angela Pask – Marketing Co-ordinator.
