This week is Small Charity Week 2019 which is now in its 10th anniversary.
We’re celebrating here at The Counselling Foundation. We are proud to be a small charity supporting our communities offering subsidised counselling across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire to help people in our communities overcome anxiety depression or grief.
Counselling offers a place to talk where we make an important difference to the mental health and wellbeing of those who need support. We have been listening for over 40 years and our charitable mission continues to grow from strength to strength. Our counselling is a talking therapy within a safe and supportive environment where you can talk to trained counsellors, whose aim is to bring about positive change and enhanced wellbeing.
As the Foundation is a ‘not for profit’ organisation, our aim is to make counselling more accessible and affordable to everyone in our communities.
You do not need to be in crisis or on the verge of one before making an appointment to come and talk to us. If you’re feeling stress or anxiety in any area of your life, this can impact other areas too. You can talk about anything that is on your mind, however large or small you think your problem is.
Make an appointment today for counselling therapy in one of five easily accessible BACP accredited centres, Bedford, Broxbourne & Ware, Luton, St Albans or Stevenage.
The Counselling Foundation also offers a wide range of professional counsellor training courses, and has the advantage of being the only regional provider to offer clinical placements for our trainees in our counselling centres.
