
Emma (she/her) came to The Counselling Foundation after leadership roles at a multi-national £2billion organisation. She has contributed to mental health services throughout her career. Currently, she is an active participant in supporting organisations for those suffering from trauma and substance misuse whilst also leading the Foundation in its development of services.

Jo (she/her) completed her training at The Counselling Foundation and has worked in various roles for the organisation as a counsellor, tutor and clinical manager. Before starting her role as Clinical Director, she was Clinical Lead at St Albans Bereavement Network. She has a private practice and is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).

Mimie (she/her) leads the talented training team at the Foundation. With a background in client operations, she delights in supporting students through their training journey. Mimie also volunteers locally promoting access to mental health services and talking therapies for all.

Stephen’s (he/him) experience includes periods in the accountancy profession, in banking and in a business consultancy and financial advisory role, mainly supporting aspirational smaller and medium sized enterprises in their development.

Mark (he/him) joined The Counselling Foundation after a long and successful career in IT leadership roles, and working as a Management Consultant in global banking and pharmaceutical organisations. In recent years he spent time working as a volunteer counsellor with Childline, and recently became a Fellow of the British Computer Society (BCS).

Tracy (she/her) joined The Counselling Foundation after 12 years in varying managerial roles at a multibillion pound Corporate IT Company and has also worked abroad setting up offices in the US. Tracy volunteers for other local charity organisations and developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything she does both personally and professionally.
