Mandy’s London 2020 Marathon Blog – Week 3

I’m running to raise funds to help more people share what’s worrying them with a trained counsellor.  One in four people suffer from a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, bereavement or life changing events.  The Foundation offer subsidised counselling that can help to improve family life, reduce isolation and encourage people back into paid or volunteering work.

Week 3 Blog

Anyway, 19 miles done on this cutback week, 6th run of 10 miles or more in the bag and nearly £600 raised already!!

Positives this week:

– my average heart rate was lower on my long run
– 10 miles felt like it used to do when I ran 6 miles. A good thing!
– my hips didnt hurt at all and my knee brace stopped my left knees from aching or hurting during my runs.
– I am definitely fitter and getting better.

Thanks to eveyone for reading my blog and my LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram posts and for the great donations we have had so far…..it is fab and so much appreciated.

Here is to a successful week 4!!
