Firstly, the coronvirus. The Japan Marathon was cancelled and more people are expecting London to be cancelled. Regardless of whether it is cancelled or not I will run 26.2 miles on my own locally if I have to!
Ok so to the running….. 18.1 miles done on Sunday, a set of 14 hill reps on Wednesday and a slow 7 mile run on Friday. 29.9 miles run this week. Yipee !!
On my long run I did 3 loops with 3 drinks made ready to be collected from outside my house. You need to drink lots running for 3 hours 40 mins. Nearly fell over the dog and twisted my ankle so dropped him at home before my final loop.
Ankle was sore yesterday but iced and elevated it and it is a lot better today.
Very pleased I have done an over 18 mile run with 8 miles under 12 min mile pace and 5 out of last 6 miles were between 11min 17 sec and 12 min 06 sec. My goal pace is 12 min 27 sec (5 hour 30 min).
