Congratulations to Pam Firth our Programme Tutor, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award 2018 in The Herts Advertiser Community Awards ceremony which took place last night at the Maltings Arts Theatre.

The awards are a celebration of community achievements and Pam was recognised for her work in counselling training at the Foundation, services to the wider community and end of life care nationally and internationally.

Cheering her on and supporting her on the night (5 September) were her daughter Hannah and Angela from the Foundation’s marketing and communications team.

Pam, in her 70’s, contributes a wealth of experience in leading and inspiring the next generation of counsellors in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire but influences policies to contribute widely in the worlds of palliative care, bereavement and mental wellbeing.
