As #BlueMonday goes viral, like other mental health charities, we agree and understand all too well that any day can be a challenge for someone experiencing a mental health problem.

Invented as a marketing ploy to sell holidays there really is no science to Blue Monday; an annual trend which names the third Monday in January as the “most depressing” day of the year.

A Small Act of Kindness
Brighten up someone’s day with a small act of kindness. Visit an elderly friend or relative, or pick up the phone and talk to someone you haven’t spoken to for a while and make their day.

Be Kind to yourself
Listen to your emotions.  If you’re suffering from anxiety, depression or emotional distress, talking to someone or counselling can help.  Call and make an appointment to talk to someone 01727 868585.

However you choose to spend today we hope you find some positivity and instead have a happy Monday.  Here are some easy ways to achieve a happier and healthier 2019.
