It’s so easy, costs nothing but a small amount of your time. So next time you’re about to make a purchase, remember to ask yourself have you selected Easy Fundraising?
How does easyfundraising work?
Easyfundraising works with over 2000 retailers who have agreed to pass a donation to our charity when you shop with them. The donation is usually a percentage of how much you spend with them but it can also be a set amount, such as £30 for a new car insurance policy.
There are many retailers to choose from including Amazon, M&S, Boden, John Lewis, Argos and various travel companies.
What do you need to do to raise money?
Firstly register and then search for “The Counselling Foundation” where you will find our centres and be able to choose which one.
To raise money, instead of going directly to the retailer website, log into easyfundraising first and click on the retailer you want to shop with. You’ll then be taken to the retailer’s website where you shop as you would normally. But because you visited easyfundraising first, your selected centre gets a donation. It really is that simple.
What’s the catch?
No catch. Whatever you buy costs exactly the same as it would if you visited the retailer site directly.
How do I get involved?
Simply click on www.easyfundraising.org.uk to register and start supporting us today.
We have registered the Foundation and each of our five counselling centres so that you can choose which centre to support; St Albans, Luton, Bedford, Broxbourne & Ware or Stevenage.
As a not for profit organisation we want to address the cost and accessibility barriers for those seeking mental health services. We aim to make counselling accessible and affordable to people in our communities especially those on low incomes and ask people to pay only what they can reasonably afford each week.
The average cost of a counselling session is £40 and the money raised will help towards those clients who are unable to pay the full amount.
Counselling can help those who may be struggling to cope better with issues such as anxiety or depression, berevement, abuse and feelings of low mood and lack of confidence.
