During these uncertain and challenging times more people than ever are seeking mental health support. The Counselling Foundation is proud to continue delivering our services during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to offer counselling remotely via phone and online, depending on your preference and our Broxbourne centre will be opening soon for face to face sessions, please revisit the website for updates.
For many, telephone and online / video counselling offer increased flexibility and, while it is a different experience to that of face-to-face counselling, the service provided is no less professional or valuable. It also allows us to adhere to social distancing requirements, ensuring the safety of our clients and staff.
More information about how we are currently delivering counselling services and how to access them, can be found here.

From the A10/M25 junction take the A10 north towards Hertford. Take the second exit at the roundabout following the A10 and continue to the next traffic lights with the American Car Wash on your left and a pedestrian overpass. This is about a mile from leaving the M25.
Turn left at these lights into College Road.
From the A10 travelling south turn right at College Road recognisable by the footbridge and the American Car Wash on the diametrically opposite corner.
Go straight across the double mini-roundabout then follow the road round to the right when it becomes Churchgate. The entrance to the car park is then immediately on the right.
Parking in the carpark is monitored by PayByPhone (available as an app, online at PayByPhone.co.uk or by phone 0800 546 0618). It is possible to park for two hours for free however you must still log your vehicle with them. The first time you use it you have to register so please allow approximately 10 minutes to do so before your appointment.
The Old Building is at the back of the car park. There is no access from the main entrance to the modern Council offices at the front of the car park.
At the back of the car park are three steps running across the width of the car park. Go up the steps and through the blue doors on the right signposted Huntingdon Suite. Walk straight through the double doors facing you then take the stairs up one floor. There is a lift to the left of the stairs.
The Counselling Centre is the door facing and slightly to the right of the stairs – please ring the bell. (If using the lift turn right out of the lift and the door is the first on the right).
