Course length: 1 year (part time) 5 hours tutor contact time per week plus clinical work and supervision

Who is this course for?: This course is suitable for anyone who wishes to develop their psychodynamic clinical skills and reflective practice as a psychodynamic counsellor in private practice or working for an agency. Applicants are welcome from a variety of backgrounds and will need to have completed a counselling training to Diploma level or equivalent which includes core psychodynamic training and have done a minimum of 100 clinical hours with individual adult clients. AnĀ IELTS score of 7 (minimum) is required if English is not your first language.

Accreditation: Mapping onto SCoPEd Column B for individual accreditation subject to meeting BACP requirements. As this is a newly improved course designed to map onto the SCoPEd industry standard competencies and skills, we will be working with BACP towards course accreditation once course criteria are published by BACP.
