The Co-op has selected The Counselling Foundation Bedford and St Albans Centres as a local organisation that they would like to support and benefit through its Community Fund in 2019/2020.
Co-op customers can now get involved help the Foundation’s mission to ensure long term counselling is available to support those who are on low incomes.
One in four people suffer from a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, bereavement or life changing events. Counselling can improve family life, reduce isolation and courage people back into paid or volunteering work.
We would like to encourage our new and existing supporters to become a Co-op member, so they can earn rewards for the Foundation and help more people access subsidised counselling. When you visit and buy any Co-op branded products and services, the Co-op will donate 1% from the cost of these purchases or our charity.
