Thought provoking, emotional, enriching….
Just some of the words used by Mireille Hayden to describe the Art of Grieving Exhibition.
The co-ordinator, Kate Ray, transformed the Kingsbury Barn into an ambient display of creative artwork and expressions to depict bereavement and loss.
The exhibition featured a variety of art forms including paintings, photographs, words, sculptures, ceremanics, mosaics, collages, handicraft, embroidery and other pieces from artists, schools, clubs and societies or any other organisation or individual.
It was great to be involved in this event as bereavement counselling is an important element of recovery for those that are finding the death of someone close difficult.
For anyone who didn’t get chance to visit this amazing exhibition click here thanks Mireille Hayden for capturing on film and sharing.
