Emma started at the Foundation in November 2020. Prior to this she had been involved with the Foundation through her voluntary work as a Trustee. Emma arrived at the Foundation after a long career as a management consultant including 11 years at KPMG. The last 8 years of her career were spent in Senior Leadership roles and during her time as a consultant she had opportunities to work both globally and across many different sectors. This included time working across the health and government sectors and working in places as diverse as Egypt and Japan.
Emma leads the Foundation with the core value of putting the client, be that students or counselling clients at the centre of all decision making. She strives to make the Foundation a great place to work for all who are involved in providing its valuable services in counselling and counselling tuition.
What do you like best about working for the foundation?
I passionately believe in our charitable objective to promote better mental health and psychological well-being whether this be through provision of counselling services or though education of people in the practice of therapeutic counselling. I consider it a privilege to use my skills to be able to lead an organisation that makes a difference.
